About me
I'm Kai Askey, a first year BA Digital Media student at the University of Leeds. Before starting at Leeds I spent eleven years racing professionally in karting, British F4, and LMP3 endurance, with teams including Ricky Flynn Motorsport and Carlin/Rodin Motorsport. That experience taught me a lot about working under pressure, communicating clearly with a team, and refining the small details until everything works together.
I'm now focused on building skills in design, web development, motion graphics, and editing. Outside of academic work I'm captain of the Leeds Motorsport Society and still race recreationally in BUKC karting. I'm interested in roles that bridge creative thinking and technical execution, particularly in media and interactive design.
